If the dog drops the article once he has brought it back, there is a 2 point deduction. However, the handler can pick it up, and save the rest of the retrieve points.

In all 3 retrieves, the handler is NO LONGER allowed to give a brief gesture in order to obtain the "sit" if the dog is within 1 meter, without a point deduction.
